Beach clean-up

-Cooperative Impact Commissie & Regiocommissie West are joining forces-

Join us for a day of environmental action and community spirit. Let’s roll up our sleeves, remove (plastic) waste and let’s make our coastline sparkle. During this cleanup we work together with Juttersgeluk - a foundation dedicated to cleaning up stray plastic on beaches. This beach litter is recycled into new products in their social ‘upcycle studio’ where they work with people who can’t do regular work for various reasons but want to participate in society. After this beach cleanup we cheers together to a cleaner planet.

14:00 - 16:00 Beach cleanup

16:00 - 18:00 Well deserved drinks & bites: Cheers to a cleaner planet! (De Haven van Zandvoort, Strandafgang Paulus Loot 9)

Practical information:

The meeting point (Laguna beach, Strandweg 8) is located on a 10 min walk from train station Zandvoort aan Zee. This activity takes place outdoors, please take this into consideration regarding shoe- and outfit choices and sun protection. The location for the drinks and bites after the cleanup is located directly next to the cleanup unit, so no need to relocate. The first two drinks and the bites are provided by the organizing committees. It is possible to stay for more drinks and/or dinner, at your own expenses.

Note: Cancellation for this activity is possible via the website until May 12th. After this date, a no-show fee of €25,- applies to cover the costs.
