No, these aren’t pitches from a Hollywood movie predicting a dystopian future! These are news headlines* of the past year. Does it make you scared? You wouldn’t be alone if you said yes. We’re constantly bombarded with images of a world that’s quite literally about to go up in flames. But how do we carry on and not just survive but thrive facing our turbulent world and uncertain future? The Young Rabo Congress 2024 acknowledges this era of chaos and seeks to equip Rabobank young professionals with the knowledge and tools to help you prepare and thrive.
Pack your survival kit and join us on the 12th of April for Young Rabo’s biggest event, the Young Rabo Congress. This year it will be held at an exciting EXTERNAL location De Utrechtse Stadsvrijheid (DUS). We have an exciting programme which will help you tackle the anxieties of today’s world and prepare to be successful in the world of tomorrow, teaching you the practical ‘survival’ skills you’ll need.
Join us for a day of exploration and empowerment as we delve into the heart of our disrupted world. Prepare to unleash survival wisdom, Richard Bergman, Ex-Special Forces, takes the stage as our keynote speaker! Our panel session will dissect how different disruptions are affecting social disparities, with panel members from different backgrounds. Additionally, four dynamic workshops—each tackling a unique disruption—will ignite action and galvanize change:
- 45 Minutes to Save the World: A sprint toward climate resilience and collective action.
- CTRL+ALT+Survive: Navigating technological upheaval with agility and determination.
- Don’t Forget Me: Crafting personal legacies that transcend time and algorithms.
- Zombie-Proof Your Mind: Mental resilience in a dystropic landscape.
Walk-in is from 9.00 to 9.30, and the program will end at 17.00, after which the last people standing can join us at the ‘end of everything’ borrel-plus. Because if the world is ending, we might as well party, right?
And all delivered from our very own doomsday bunker. Limited supplies and oxygen are available in the bunker, so secure your spot quick!
You can cancel via the website until 5:00 PM on March 26st. After this time, a no-show fee of €50 will apply.
