No vacation feeling this year? Not with the Jong Rabo Research Trip!

No faraway trip this year, no feet on a white sand beach and no cocktail in your hand? Then we have some good news! Pack your suitcase with your laptop, because Jong Rabo will take you on a digital trip around the world! Every year the Research Trip committee organizes an unforgettable visit to an interesting country. But because we are not able to physically travel does not mean that we can't go on a trip. Even better, we will take you to different continents, all with their own stories, speakers and topics.

Are you interested in joining our Research Trip this year? We created a Research Trip team in Teams where we will post all activities and recorded video’s. But this is also a great way to connect to different colleagues from all over the world! You can join in Teams with this link. Even if you are not able to join the first session, you are very welcome to join the team and make sure that you don’t miss out on any updates.

First stop is Africa

Harmen van Heist, founder of Rural Spark, will kick-off this trip on Thursday July 16th. He  will take you on the journey they took to electrify Africa. He will introduce you to the African market, the challenges they had, and share the awarded design approach they developed to design for systems in contexts that are far from your own: Hidden Design.

We hope to see you at the first "Company visit" of the Research Trip. Keep an eye on the website, Teams and social media for the next destinations, you don’t want to miss this trip!
