No vacation feeling this year? Not with the Jong Rabo Research Trip!
No faraway trip this year, no feet on a white sand beach and no cocktail in your hand? Then we have some good news! Pack your suitcase with your laptop, because Jong Rabo will take you on a digital trip around the world! Every year the Research Trip committee organizes an unforgettable visit to an interesting country. But because we are not able to physically travel does not mean that we can't go on a trip. Even better, we will take you to different continents, all with their own stories, speakers and topics.
Are you interested in joining our Research Trip this year? We created a Research Trip team in Teams where we will post all activities and recorded video’s. But this is also a great way to connect to different colleagues from all over the world! You can join in Teams with this link. Even if you are not able to join this session, you are very welcome to join the team and make sure that you don’t miss out on any updates.
Last stop is North America
In North America we will have a session about the US Elections: looking beyond Trump-Biden. The outcome of the US elections in November will have a major impact on the US economy and consequently on the global economy. Trump and Biden have radically different views, but they also share some similarities. What’s more, there are trends in the US that will continue independent of the election outcome.
Philip Marey is Senior US Strategist at Rabobank Markets and is responsible for the Rabobank Research view on the US economy and financial markets. He has an M.Sc. in econometrics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He will take us on this journey of the US elections.
This activity will take place digitally and will be recorded. By joining you give us permission to record this activity.
We hope to see you at this "country topic visit" of the Research Trip, you don’t want to miss this!
