Within some committees you work towards one main event instead of several activities like the annual Jong Rabo conference, the interbanking event FLAIRS or the research trip. Coming year you organise a good mix of both Dutch and English activities and a good mix between online and real life events. In this committee you work together with passionate colleagues and you contribute to Rabobank’s mission ‘Growing a better world together’. In this committee you make sure that you generate social impact!

You are responsible for establishing an unforgettable program, in which content, personal development and fun are key. By working alongside each other for a whole year, you really get to know your fellow committee members, which leads to a valuable mutual connection. The coming year we will be highly dependend on current circumstances in the world. The research trip committee is up to the adventure to find possibilities and chances within the current frame and to organise a valuable trip no matter where it leads us. Join the Panel committee and you know that you will broaden your network and help Jong Rabo to really make impact!

Business Change committee

The Business Change Committee is Jong Rabo’s voice among the top leaders in the bank. Think of us as a commission that loves to not only think along but also challenge the leadership on big topics such as Sustainability, Millenial Issues or current events withing Rabobank or the world around us. We simply want to be the group that triggers the leaders’ minds through showing them what is on the minds of the young people in the bank. We organise inspiring activities where the dialogue between Jong Rabo members and the top leaders of the bank is central. These sessions are creative and innovative and we aim for open and constructive conversations. Next year we are looking forward to enter into new conversations with our leaders!

Regional Committee North

  • 3 committee members
  • 1 committee chair

Regional committee North has a really fun atmosphere. We are all women with ambition and we reach straight for our goals. While we organise cool activities and form valuable cooperations we also laugh a lot and keep each other sharp. We do this by being critical in the choices that we make and we always do an evaluation after an activity. That way, we all learn. De nicest part about organising activities is to start at zero. Then, you will think about creative ideas like a camping trip at a farm and company visits to unique companies in the North of the Netherlands. After that, we make contact with the company or organization and with the local Rabobank office. When you know that the program is solid and you can open up registration for members and our local ambassadors it really gives you a rush! A fun and educational day where people get to meet each other and share knowledge, that is what we stand for.

Regional Committee East

  • 3 committee members
  • 1 committee chair

Regional Committee East is set up for members in the east of the Netherlands. In addition to your job at Rabobank, you organize various meetings together with motivated committee members. A few times a year you meet with the committee to come up with these fantastic activities and to work them out. We meet periodically, the atmosphere is always good and there is sufficient room for personal development and growth. It is a broad committee in which you have a lot of freedom. Highlights are a visit to the European Central Bank (ECB) and Rabobank International in Frankfurt in 2019. In 2020 we organized several inspiring activities online such as happiness from your garden and an online wine trip. How amazing would it be to organize something like this?

Regional Committee South

  • 3 committee members
  • 1 committee chair

Are you looking for a challenge next to yur regular job and do you wish to further develop your talents? Then apply for regional committee South. Together we organise educational and fun activities in the South of the Netherlands. This year we organised a pubquiz, a beer tasting and a workshop on how to make your own ‘Bossche Bol’. We like out of the box ideas! We have a lot of fun together, we challenge each other and we value personal growth. We discuss how we want to grow as a committee and how we can achieve that. Regional Committee South is the ideal opportunity to discover and develop your (hidden) talents. What are you waiting for?

Regional Committee West

  • 3 committee members
  • 1 committee chair

A day in the life of a Region West committee member.

You worked all day and then another meeting with your committee, what a long day this will be! Long, because your committee meeting are never dull and never ends quickly, it is far too pleasant for that. We used the first meeting to get to know each other better and to brainstorm for potential activities that we are going to organize this year. The connection between members grows quickly, so the first meeting already ends far past midnight.
Of course it’s not all just one big party; activities need to be organized as well. You do this in collaboration with colleagues from various divisions of Rabobank and it is precisely this dynamic that creates a nice range of activities. This year we visited our client the A’DAM Tower in Amsterdam, we expanded our network during a wine tasting and we organized an activity on consumer behavior in cooperation with Too Good To Go. And all organized in an informal setting while enjoying a snack and drink. Regional Committee West is the place to be.

FLAIRS 2021

  • 1 or 2 committee member(s) as representative in the interbank FLAIRS organisation

FLAIRS is thé annual interbanking event. You will be organizing this great event together with eight representatives from other large Dutch banks. This year was the first online edition in which networking, cooperation and personal development remain key topics. We will be zooming in on what is on your mind as a young banking professional, the influence that you can have in your job and of course on your future and the future of the banking sector. For next year we are looking for people who want to cooperate with other banks and come up with innovative ideas to make FLAIRS 2021 an unforgettable event!
