Author: Jessica White, Board

Are you up for a new challenge and eager to learn new skills? Do you want to get to know new Jong Rabo members and make a contribution to the Jong Rabo community? This is your chance!

We currently have open vacancies for two of Jong Rabos’ commitees:

  • Marketing and Communications
  • Regional Committee North

Are you interested? Send an email to Moniek.Schoenmaker@rabobank.com for more information!

Marketing- & Communications committee

In this committee your main tasks are:

  • The creation and distribution of our monthly newsletter
  • Updating events on the website for our several committees
  • Social Media posts of events
  • Promotional activities for Jong Rabo throughout the year

What do we do?

Does branding, promotion and social media sounds good and familiar to you? In the MarCom committee you will be “the communication expert” for one or several Jong Rabo committees. As expert on communications your main task are: helping them with advise for catching social media updates and editing copy for events on our website. Because everyone in this committee is connected to only one or two committees, you have a lot of freedom for development in above-mentioned skills. During the year we also organise many promotional activities to give our members a boost in numbers.

Regional Committee North

In this committee your main tasks are:

Organizing activities to introduce Jong Rabo members to the Northern region of the Netherlands, for example activities with our customers in the region, or a fun activity to get together with other Jong Rabo members in this region!

What do our current committee members have to say?

Regional committee North has a really fun atmosphere. We are all proud Jong Rabo members with ambition and we strive to achieve all our goals. While we organise cool activities and form valuable cooperations we also laugh a lot and keep each other sharp. We do this by being critical in the choices that we make and evaluating after every activity. That way, we're all constantly learning. The best part about organising activities (I believe) is starting at zero, thinking up creative ideas like a camping trip at a farm or company visits to unique companies in the North of the Netherlands. After that, we make contact with the company or organization and with the local Rabobank office. When you know that the program is solid and you open up registration for members and our local ambassadors it really gives you a rush! A fun and educational day where people get to network and learn, that is what we stand for.
