Jong Rabo Ski Trip 2023

Jetzt geht’s wieder los! Met de deceptie van de afgelopen jaren nog vers in ons achterhoofd, zal de sportcommissie er alles aan doen om dit jaar wél de piste op te mogen. Het is dan ook eindelijk weer tijd voor de mooiste vakantie van het jaar; de Jong Rabo Inter-company Skireis 2023!

Saalbach-Hinterglemm in Oostenrijk 

Het bekende skigebied van Saalbach-Hinterglemm is het grootste van heel Oostenrijk met maar liefst 350 kilometer aan piste, waarvan 270 km aaneengesloten. Daarnaast is de bestemming sneeuwzeker en staat het bekend om de beste après-ski van de Alpen. Daar wil je toch bij zijn?

Dit jaar vertrekken we niet met alleen Jong Rabo richting de bergen, maar doen we mee met het grootste intercompany event van Nederland:

De Intercompany Wintersport van Frühstuk. 

Dit betekent dat we zowel met eigen collega’s als met young professionals van andere bedrijven (denk bijvoorbeeld aan Heineken, Berenschot, Nouryon, KPN, VodafoneZiggo en ING) op de bestemming zullen zijn. Deze groep van maar liefst 750 deelnemers volgt een gezamenlijk (party-) programma, en geloof ons, dat wil je niet missen! 

Jong Rabo Ski Trip samengevat:

De persoonlijk bijdrage is maximaal €750*,- en voor dit bedrag krijg je: 

• Een geheel verzorgde heen- en terugreis per bus vanaf ons kantoor op de Croeselaan.
• Een vijfdaagse ski reis inclusief 3 dagen skipas (do-, vrij-, zaterdag) voor een prachtig skigebied met hypermoderne liften. Het is mogelijk om een extra skipas te kopen voor de aankomst dag (meerprijs €54,-).
• Vier nachten in een luxe hotel (4 sterren) in Hinterglemm inclusief luxe ontbijtbuffet, spa, wellness en sauna. 
• Een geweldig intercompany programma met verschillende feesten.
• Een speciale activiteit voor alleen Jong Rabo om je collega’s beter te leren kennen! 
• EB bedrag betaal je rond januari 2023. Meer info volgt per mail.

Belangrijke data:

• Periode wintersport: dinsdag 14 maart tot en met zondag 19 maart 2023. 
  Dit betekent dinsdagavond vertrekken vanuit Utrecht, vier dagen op locatie (waarvan drie dagen met skipas met mogelijkheid tot bijboeken), en zondagochtend na een heerlijk ontbijtje weer vertrekken naar Utrecht. Zondagavond terugkomst in Utrecht.
• Start inschrijving: de inschrijving opent op donderdag 6 oktober 2022 om 12:00 uur. Er zijn 50 plekken beschikbaar (incl. sportcommissie). De laatste wintersport was binnen 0.5 nanoseconden vol dus zorg ervoor dat je er op tijd bij bent!
• Betaling: meer info volgt.

 Praktische informatie:

• Skilessen: net als andere jaren is het mogelijk om via JR skilessen te volgen. Dit zal tegen een aantrekkelijk tarief mogelijk zijn. Nadere invulling en kosten hiervan volgen na de inschrijving.
• Opgeven als skileraar: ben jij een gecertificeerd skileraar en zou je het leuk vinden om jouw collega’s les te geven in ruil voor een forse discount op de wintersportreis? Neem dan contact op met Tim Vonk via Tim.Vonk@rabobank.nl.
• Materiaalhuur: het is mogelijk om materiaal te huren via Frühstuk. Dit kan eenvoudig via de portal welke beschikbaar komt na aanmelding. De kosten hiervoor voor drie dagen zijn als volgt: 
• Ski’s / snowboard ‘‘gold’’: €80,- 
• Ski’s / snowboard ‘‘platinum’’: €95,-
• Schoenen: €30,-

NB1! Platinum ski’s/snowboard zijn van betere kwaliteit ten opzichte van gold.

NB2! Let op! Ander materiaal (e.g. helmen) kan niet via Frühstuk worden gehuurd. Uiteraard bevinden zich in het skigebied voldoende mogelijkheden om dit te huren.

• Lunch en avondeten: de reis is exclusief lunch en avondeten. Deze vallen dus voor eigen rekening. Uiteraard zullen wij ons best doen om het budget dusdanig te besteden dat er nog iets georganiseerd zal worden vanuit de sportcommissie. Meer info volgt.
• Après-ski: via Frühstuk hebben we toegang tot exclusieve intercompany feesten. De drank tijdens deze feesten is niet afgekocht. 
• Reservelijst: er is plek voor 50 deelnemers. Mocht je te laat zijn met inschrijven, dan kom je op de reservelijst. Eventuele na-plaatsing wordt gedaan op volgorde van inschrijving. 
• Uitschrijven: heb je een felbegeerde plek bemachtigd maar kun je onverhoopt toch niet mee op de wintersport? Dan zullen we dit eerst proberen op te vangen met de reserve lijst. Als dat niet mogelijk is kunnen wij je tot 90 dagen vóór de eerste reisdag kosteloos uitschrijven bij Frühstuk. Als je jezelf later uitschrijft worden er annuleringskosten in rekening gebracht (zie hieronder).  Houd er rekening mee dat wij jouw afmelding op tijd moeten doorgeven aan Frühstuk, dus zorg ervoor dat je verzoek tot afmelding ruim op tijd bij ons binnen is. Bel in dat geval met Tim Vonk of Bastiaan Henderik.
• Annuleringskosten: met jouw inschrijving gaan we namens jou verplichtingen aan met Frühstuk. Bij een te late afmelding worden alle kosten daarvan bij jou in rekening gebracht. Uiteraard zullen we eerst proberen om jouw vrijgekomen plek te vullen met iemand van de reservelijst, maar we kunnen niet beloven dat dit lukt. 
• Annulerings- en reisverzekering: er is geen persoonlijke annulerings- of reisverzekering voor de deelnemers afgesloten. Dit dien je dus zelf te regelen. 
• COVID-19: hoewel we de pandemie het liefst willen vergeten hebben we met bij het kiezen van een aanbieder goed gekeken naar de annuleringsvoorwaarden. Als de reis vanuit Frühstuk wordt geannuleerd ontvang je een 100% cash refund (dus geen voucher). Daarnaast kan zowel Jong Rabo als jijzelf de reis tot 90 dagen vóór de eerste reisdag kosteloos annuleren en krijg je in zo’n situatie dus ook je geld terug. Houd wel rekening met de opmerkingen hierboven bij “Uitschrijven”.

*Helaas is inflatie niet altijd je vriend. Wij zijn ons er zeer ter degen bewust van dat de kosten t.o.v. voorgaand jaar zijn opgelopen. Dit i.v.m. stijging in prijzen accommodatie, skipas en busvervoer. De deelnemersbijdrage is afhankelijk van het aantal deelnemers en enkele nog te bepalen kosten. Zodra die bekend zijn zullen we laten weten wat de precieze deelnemersbijdrage wordt. Deze zal echter niet hoger uitvallen dan €750,-.

Jetzt geht’s wieder los! With the deception of recent years still fresh in our minds, the sports committee will do everything they can to enter the slopes this year. It is finally time for the most beautiful holiday of the year; the Jong Rabo Inter-company Ski Trip 2023!

Saalbach-Hinterglemm in Austria

The well-known ski area of ​​Saalbach-Hinterglemm is the largest in Austria with no less than 350 kilometers of slopes, of which 270 km are continuous. In addition, the destination is snow-sure and is known for the best après-ski in the Alps. Do you want to be there?

This year we will not only leave for the mountains with Jong Rabo, but we will participate in the largest intercompany event in the Netherlands:

The Intercompany Wintersport of Frühstuk.

This means that we will be at the destination with our own colleagues as well as with young professionals from other companies (think of Heineken, Berenschot, Nouryon, KPN, VodafoneZiggoen ING). Jong Rabo Ski Trip summarized:

The personal contribution for the trip is a maximum of €750*, and for this amount you will receive:

• An all-inclusive outward and return journey by bus from our office at Croeselaan.
• A five-day ski trip including a 3-day ski pass (Thu, Fri, and Saturday) for a beautiful ski area with ultramodern lifts. It is possible to buy an extra ski pass for the day of arrival (additional costs of €45,-).
• Four nights in a luxury hotel (4 stars) in Hinterglemm including a luxury breakfast buffet, spa, wellness and sauna.
• A great intercompany program with various parties.
• A special activity for Jong Rabo only to get to know your colleagues better!
• Own contribution will be paid in Januari. More info follows via mail.

Important data:

• Winter sports period: Tuesday March 14 to Sunday March 19, 2023.
  This means leaving from Utrecht on Tuesday evening, four days on location (three days of which with a ski pass with the option to book), and on Sunday morning, after a delicious breakfast, we leave for Utrecht again. Sunday evening return to Utrecht.
• Start of registration: registration opens on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 12:00. There are 50 places available (including sports committee). The last winter sport was full within 0.5 nanoseconds so make sure you get there on time!
• Payment: more info to follow.

Practical information:

• Ski lessons: just like other years it is possible to take ski lessons through JR. This will be possible at an attractive rate. Further details and costs will follow after registration.
• Register as a ski instructor: are you a certified ski instructor and would you like to teach your colleagues in exchange for a substantial discount on the winter sports trip? Please contact Tim Vonk at Tim.Vonk@rabobank.nl.
• Equipment rental: it is possible to rent equipment via Frühstuk. This can easily be done via the portal which becomes available after registration. The costs for this for three days are as following:
  • Skis / snowboard ''gold'': €80,-
  • Skis / snowboard ''platinum'': €95,-
  • Shoes: €30,-

NB1! Platinum skis/snowboard are of better quality compared to gold.

NB2! Other equipment (e.g. helmets) cannot be rented via Frühstuk. Of course there are plenty of opportunities to rent this in the ski area.

• Lunch and dinner: the trip does not include lunch and dinner. These are therefore for your own account. Of course we will do our best to spend the budget in such a way that something will be organized by the sports committee. More info will follow.
• Après-ski: via Frühstuk we have access to exclusive intercompany parties. The drink during these parties has not been bought off.
• Reserve list: there is room for 50 participants. If you are too late to register, you will be placed on the reserve list. Any post-placement will be done in order of registration.
• Unsubscribe: have you secured a spot, but unfortunately you can't join the winter sports? Then we first fill up with the reserve list and otherwise we can unsubscribe you from Frühstuk free of charge up to 90 days before the first day of travel. If you unsubscribe later, a cancellation fee will be charged (see below). Please keep in mind that we must notify Frühstuk in time for your cancellation, so make sure that we receive your request for cancellation in good time. In that case, call Tim Vonk or Bastiaan Henderik.
• Cancellation costs: with your registration we have committed with Frühstuk on your behalf. In the event of a late cancellation, all costs will be charged to you. Of course we will first try to fill your vacant spot with someone from the reserve list, but we cannot promise that this will work.
• Cancellation and travel insurance: there is no personal cancellation or travel insurance for the participants. So you have to arrange this yourself.
• COVID-19: although we would prefer to forget the pandemic, we took a good look at the cancellation conditions when choosing a provider. If the trip from Frühstuk is canceled you will receive a 100% cash refund (so no voucher). In addition, both Jong Rabo and you can cancel the trip free of charge up to 90 days before the first day of travel. Hence you will also receive your payment back in such a situation. Keep in mind the comments above under “Unsubscribe”.

*Unfortunately, inflation isn't always your friend. We are very much aware that the costs have increased compared to last year. Mainly due to the increase in prices of the accommodation, ski pass, and bus transport. The participant contribution depends on the number of participants and a number of costs yet to be determined. As soon as these are known, we will let you know the exact participant contribution. However, this will not exceed €750.
