YR Ski Trip 2024!

PRIOR TO SIGNING UP, PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Here we go again! With the memories from last year's trip still fresh in our minds, the sports committee is on a mission to conquer the slopes again this year. It's finally time for the most enchanting holiday of the year: the Young Rabo Intercompany Ski Adventure 2024!

Get ready for the grandeur of Saalbach-Hinterglemm, the Austrian ski paradise boasting an impressive 350 kilometers of slopes, including a seamless stretch of 270 km. With a reputation for the Alps' finest après-ski scene, who wouldn't want to join in the fun?

Intercompany 2023 turned out to be such as success, so once again we're not just heading to the mountains with the Young Rabo crew but we're diving headfirst into the biggest intercompany extravaganza in the Netherlands: Frühstuk's Intercompany Wintersport 2024. Imagine this: a gathering of our own colleagues alongside spirited young professionals from big-league companies like Heineken, Berenschot, NS, KPN, VodafoneZiggo, and ING. A powerhouse group of 750 participants ready to ride the waves of a shared (party) program that's bound to be legendary. Trust us, you won't want to miss a second of it!

Ski Trip summarized:

Get ready for the Young Rabo Ski Trip – it’s going to be a blast! Thanks to some awesome board subsidies, we've kept the expenses locked at an unbeatable €775. And for that price, you're in for a treat:

• Buckle up for an all-inclusive bus journey from our Croeselaan hub – we've got your back on the travel front!

• Dive into a five-day ski adventure with a 3-day ski pass (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) that unlocks a stunning ski wonderland with state-of-the-art lifts. Plus, if you're itching to hit the slopes even sooner, you can snag an extra ski pass for your arrival day (€59 extra).

• When the skiing's done, kick back in style with a cushy four-night stay in a luxury 4-star hotel in Hinterglemm. The bonus? A lavish breakfast spread, and full access to the spa, wellness center, and sauna – that's the way to unwind!

• Brace yourself for unforgettable intercompany electrifying parties and shindigs.

As for your own contribution, mark your calendars for January – we'll dish out more deets via email. Stay tuned!

Registration Procedure:

• You can register from October 2nd to October 16th.

• On October 16th, we will close the list and finalize the registrations.

• In the following week, under the supervision of a member of the YR advisory and general board, we will determine the order of the list in a randomized manner and communicate it. If you're one of the lucky ones, we assume you're on board! We also communicate your number on the reserve list so that you are informed about your chances of joining.

• Booked a vacation anyway? Got a wedding to attend? Lost your excitement? Got an important meeting scheduled? No problem, but there's always a €25 cancelation fee until 31-12-2023, even if someone else from the waitlist can take your spot. Starting 01-01-2024, you will be charged with the €775 no show fee unless we can replace you with someone from the waitlist.

Important data:

• Winter sports period: Tuesday March 12 to Sunday March 17, 2024. This means leaving from Utrecht on Tuesday evening, four days on location (three days of which with a ski pass with the option to book), and on Sunday morning, after a delicious breakfast, we leave for Utrecht again. Sunday evening return to Utrecht.         

• Start of registration: registration opens on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 12:00 and ends on Monday, October 16, 2023.

• Payment: more info to follow. Please don’t pay immediately.

Practical information:

• Ski lessons: just like other years it is possible to take ski lessons through Frühstuk. This will be possible at an attractive rate. Further details and costs will follow after registration.

• Gear Galore: Need gear? Frühstuk's got your back! This can easily be done via the portal which becomes available after registration. The ski gear rental is €120 and at arrival it will be ready for you at the hotel.

• Lunch and dinner: Heads up – our adventure doesn't cover lunch and dinner. These are therefore for your own account. But don't worry, our sports committee's on a mission to sprinkle some budget magic and cook up options for you.

•  Après-Ski Vibes: Picture this – exclusive intercompany parties courtesy of Frühstuk. The dance moves and laughter are on the house, but when it comes to drinks during these epic bashes, it's your show. Sip responsibly and dance wildly!

• Cancellation costs: with your registration we have committed with Frühstuk on your behalf. In the event of a late cancellation, all costs will be charged to you. Of course we will first try to fill your vacant spot with someone from the reserve list, but we cannot promise that this will work.

• Cancellation and travel insurance: While we're all about adventure, personal cancellation and travel insurance aren't part of the package, so you have to arrange this yourself.
